The programme offers the opportunity to do management research at an internationally benchmarked standard.
Financially, students are supported generously: stipends of ₹42,000 – ₹50,000 per month (depending on the stage), free accommodation on campus. A grant of ₹ 1,75,000 is given to attend an international conference and ₹ 20,000 for national conferences.
About two-thirds of Fellows are placed as faculty members in prestigious national institutes (like IIMs, IITs, NITIE) as well as in top universities abroad. Other DPM students also receive offers from reputed corporate organizations.
Applicants to the DPM must have a valid test score, not older than three years. Alternatively, you may qualify through other tests like GRE, GATE, GMAT, UGC-NET / JRF, IIMB Test, depending on your area of specialisation.
Yes. As long as you satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria, you can apply even if your UG / PG is not in management.
It is a fully funded full-time programme. You cannot pursue it alongside a job.
Yes, it is a doctoral programme in management (PhD). The students are routinely placed as faculty members (or equivalent) in reputed universities in North America, Europe, India, and the Middle East.
